Responsibilities: As an IDT Advisor, your role is pivotal in spearheading analytics initiatives and boosting operational efficiency at the company's power trading desk.
Main responsibilities:
Analytics and Workflow AutomationUtilize your technical and quantitative skills to support the trading team by developing comprehensive market analytics suites.
This involves engineering and maintaining market data, creating market analytics dashboards and forecasting models to provide actionable trading insights, and automating certain trading workflows to enhance efficiency.

Consultancy and CollaborationYou will act as a consultant, shaping and delivering enhancements in partnership with the data analytics and ETRM teams overseas. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding solution design, developing strategic roadmaps, and ensuring the seamless integration of new processes and training.

Supporting Growth Opportunities From time to time as the need arises you may be asked to support business develop growth projects including assess integration challenges, technology competency and developing necessary models.
Opportunities may include inorganic acquisitions or structured offtakes for BESS, Renewables C&I or Gas Fired generation (or other energy related deals).
Reporting directly to the IT and Digital Manager for Asia, you will primarily engage with the company's trading desk team.
Your contributions will be essential in safeguarding and enhancing the value of product and information management investments, working closely with the natural team as well as the trading team to achieve business goals.

•Use advanced data analytics to create dashboards offering actionable trading insights. Collaborate with the trading desk to align tools with business needs, prepare documentation, and conduct user training sessions. Identify automation opportunities within trading operations to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce human error.
•Engineer, maintain, and manage data to enrich trading analytics. Introduce new data sources, connect to external APIs, and ensure data quality and stability.
•Facilitate the onboarding of new IT applications, ensuring compliance with risk and security standards, and assist in engineering interfaces for seamless integration.
•Collaborate with senior leadership to plan the IT budget across portfolios, ensuring enhancements are delivered within budget. Regularly update stakeholders on costs and progress. Influence and align delivery with the portfolio/product roadmap and strategies.
•Ensure the stability, integrity, and performance of operational environments. Identify and realize improvement opportunities. Facilitate integration with other product/application delivery teams for end-to-end service delivery.
•Build trusted partnerships with various stakeholders, including Business Interface Managers, business partners, suppliers, project/product team members, and the IT support organization. Provide consultancy and occasionally lead initiatives in cyber security, incident/problem management, change management, and other operational activities.
•Collaborate with Data and Solution Architects to translate specifications into high-level design and technical specs, ensuring adherence to simplification and standardization principles.
•You may also be expected to focus on a specific product or project where you will play both a key delivery and strategic role. You’ll thrive as the expert and go-to person in the area for many of the design, strategy and other ongoing activities and initiatives alluded to in the list above

■Job Description：
・You will gather the client's hopes and requests, and provide improvement requests and advice to our development team.
・In order to provide better results to our clients, as a data analyst, we identify factors and events that need to be improved, and provide information and suggestions for improvement to the development team.
■Specific examples of work：
1. Serve as business owner for governing and optimization of information management within business group and the repair factory in Kakegawa.
2. Serve as POC for the site where the client's products are developed reporting requirements including the customer reports, such as Weekly KPI reports, daily flat-file maintenance, New product launch reporting setups in cooperation with IT team.
3. Serve as business owner to build short to long term strategy and goals for BI and the ERP/SFC continuous improvements and IT related roadmap.
4. Coordinate with IT team to conduct necessary UAT and arrangement, QA testing and final acceptance for all release cycles.
5.Work as project leader in automating the customer reports, coordinating with on=site contractor and offshore team to improve the IT systems.
6.Support Communication between the Global ERP team and the development site or factory to ensure smooth communication and understanding is maintained in both Japanese and English
