Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
  • 1. Scope of responsibilities:
    • Constantly collect information on the market, consumers, and competitors, and based on that information, considering how to respond and which areas to focus on.
    • The position will operate the organization as a liaison to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, draft and oversee various internal regulations, and participate in management-related meetings and prepare minutes.
    • This position is responsible for collecting issues and information that only each department knows and delivering it to the management team so that there is no distance between the management and BUs.
    • Mainly plan mid-term management plans over a 3 to 5 years span, formulate strategies, and manage the company's budget, but they also handle a variety of other tasks, such as serving as the secretariat for board meetings and management meetings.
    • As a trusted assistant to the executives, successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the executives' schedules, arranging business trips, writing letters to important business partners, and handling special occasions, while demonstrating careful attention to detail and promoting smooth communication both inside and outside the company.
    • Coordinate the schedules of directors, outside directors, and outside auditors for the meetings and prepare an annual meeting schedule.
    • As the head of the department in charge of various internal regulations, this position will involve maintaining, managing and establishing new regulations, advising on necessary meetings and announcing them after approval.
    • In this position, it is required to manage Ringi requests, acting as the central point of contact for their submission.
  • 2. Scope of functions:
    • Drafting plans: Plan and plan to materialize the vision of the president and management.
    • Planning: Establish numerical targets and make them concrete to the level where it is possible to objectively verify whether the plan has been achieved
    • Execution and progress management: Act as the flag bearer for the formulated plan and execute and operate it. In addition, check whether the intermediate targets have been reached and confirm that the plan is proceeding as planned.
    • Revising the plan: If factors that are preventing the goal from being achieved are found as the plan progresses, improvements and revisions are made to resolve the issues.
    • In the above manner, the business strategy is formulated, executed, operated and checked, and various tasks and multiple projects are carried out in parallel.
    • In addition, support for subsidiaries, negotiations for joint ventures with other companies, creation of new businesses that will become new pillars of revenue, leadership and coordination of cross-departmental projects, IR, and promotion of M&A, including with overseas companies.
    • Managing executive assistants and coordinating secretarial duties
    • Collaborate with BU functions, IR, Finance
    • Lead IPO readiness initiatives and coordination among internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support equity story development and investor communication strategy.
    • Coordinate with securities firms, auditors, legal counsel, and consultants.
    • Assist in the establishment and enhancement of governance, internal control, and disclosure systems.
    • Support preparation of listing-related documentation and regulatory filings.
    • Support and enhance corporate governance frameworks.
    • Coordinate Board of Directors and committee activities.
    • Prepare Board materials, meeting agendas, resolutions, and minutes.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and best practices.
    • Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and legal counsel.
  • 3. Process improvement
    • Develop and maintain a culture and activity of continuous improvements.
    • Identify opportunities and continuously develop robotization and automation of tasks.

    • Develop BCP

    • Motivate and lead team members
    • Monitor professional development of team members
    • Guide them to develop into new steps in training and experience, depending on individual profile and interests.
    • Voluntary and continuous knowledge improvement and self-development of regulations and laws
  • Reporting lines:
    • Reports to: CEO
    • Subordinates: Total 1-3 (TBD: Internal transfer) and 1-3 for Secretarial office
 
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • 20 years or more in corporate planning field
  • Attention to detail, yet ability to maintain an “80/20” mindset
  • Fast learner and adapt change quickly
  • Collected and analyzed data and derived a theory, successful candidate needs the ability to summarize it in an easy-to-understand way and communicate it to those around, as well as the ability to get others involved and put it into practice.

Preferred qualifications:
