Responsibilities
In this role you will:•        Implementation of the Global and Regional HR Strategy and policies, through leading the Shared Services – Malaysia Human Resources team function, supporting and maintaining the infrastructure, systems and processes in line with company standards and legislations, ensuring a high standard of delivery of HR services to the enterprise.•        Delivering operational excellence of HR solutions, partnering with country HR, Corporate HR and other functional teams.•        Identifying opportunity and delivering continuous process improvements as part of key global HR projects to support the further development of the Shared Services HR function. •Payroll Data Management:o  Delivering to regional payroll solution requirements, time and attendance and statutory processing, to maintain compliance to legal, fiscal and regulatory requirement.o  Ensure accurate and timely centralized reporting for personnel costs management and forecast initiatives. •        Process Efficiency and Automation:o  Support the execution of Global Process Ownership for processes as defined and assigned by our Corporate HR office.o  Driving success through working with peers and team-mates across geographies on common ways of working, process improvements and initiatives.o  Identification opportunity for process improvement through process efficiency and/or automation.o  Partner cross functionally to address operational requirements and compliance.o  Key team member in automation initiatives for the Function as assigned by Corporate Office.o  Partner with and influence required business partners to drive process, systems and organizational changes successfully. •        Service Delivery:o  Continuously meet the target of delivery of a comprehensive set of performance metrics.o  Investigate and resolve complex issues that arise regarding policies, processes and practices.o  Key point of contact to execute to HR processes transition to the Shared Services - Malaysia HR team.o  Deliver excellent HR customer service and operational excellence to regional HR customers, monitoring inquiries and internal customer satisfaction and providing escalated support as needed.•        Ensure all service delivery in full compliance to all audits, certification, HR policy and Employee Handbooks as related to processes and services delivered in the Shared Services - Malaysia HR.
Requirements
Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 
  • Overall career experience in HR, particularly in payroll management for about 5 years of experience in an HR Shared Services organization, managing end to end Japan and China payroll operations. 
  • Degree in Human Resources, additional HR qualifications will be an added advantage.  
  • Experienced in driving and executing service migration projects in a matrixed organization. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details are required. 
  • Ability to speak in Japanese language will be desired. 
  • Having a working knowledge of Workday and GlobalView SAP system will be the added advantages.

  • Having experience running HR Operations including but not limited to Talent Services, Total Rewards Services, Time and Attendance and Payroll administration.
