- Responsibilities
-
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the team as a local IT Business Partner
- Owns the local IT / Business governance & systems
- Identifies new business needs to be addressed locally or with Central support
- Ensures that local business needs and issues are well captured and understood
- Ensures the IT service delivery for store projects with Business (e.g. store openings, relocation, pop-up)
- Ensures that service levels are at the target and proposes corrective action plan when necessary
- Ensures compliance with local legal regulations governing data protection & cybersecurity measures in link with CISO
- Provides leadership in crisis situations involving local IT infrastructure failure, security breaches or IT incidents
- Participates in Central IT Governance
- Is responsible for deployment of Global IT Strategy, standards & practices in Japan, and acts as local referent for any questions regarding the global IT strategy
- Ensures IT processes, guidelines, standards & consistency framework are applied and followed in Japan (Product management, Project Management, Security, Budget management, Architecture, …)
- Ensures local solutions are compliant with IT central guidelines and standards (architecture, security, data, …) and involves Central IT as per defined in the processes
- Raises risks and issues to the right level of escalation
- Elaborates & monitors Zone budget
- E-laborates & follows-up local zone budget CAPEX & OPEX
- Communicates within zone ecosystem consolidated Japan budget (local & central reinvoiced budget)
- Monitor & communicate the Japan roadmap & Global Roadmap (Local & Central IT led projects impacting Japan), key milestones, deadlines, achievements & risks
- Steers deployment of core model within zone, when necessary, and in coordination with Product Teams
- Steers local projects with high sensitivity or visibility, making sure that they are approved and aligned by / with Central IS&T
- Contributes to the development of new offers
- Manages local teams
- Manages local IT staff : IS Team, IT Team, Support team, Local Information Security Officer, …
- Manages the global capacity for zone teams & local talent recruitment & sourcing
- Manages the choice and relationship with local partnerships & service providers for local applications follows guidelines and alignment with Central IT
- Lead the team as a local IT Business Partner
- Requirements

Minimum requirements:
- Minimum of +10 years’ IT experience and +5 years’ experience in Team Management.
- Experience with large-scale application projects such as CRM, ERP, POS, e-commerce implementation
- Excellent Project management skills.
- Service orientation. Autonomy and curiosity. Ability to quickly ramp-up on new solutions and technologies
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Attention to detail and quality of deliverables
- Experience working in the retail industry / B2C a must.
- Experience providing internal IT Support (remote and on-site)
- Fluent in Japanese & English
Preferred qualifications:- Fluency in French a plus
