To be responsible for a dedicated part of the sales and business development of the company's product portfolio in Japan. Also to be responsible for developing existing client relationships in addition to identifying and pursuing new client opportunities from prospect to partner and to fully represent and build the brand in accordance with the company brand values and mission statement.
Main responsibilities:- To build and maintain the brand and mission
- To manage and develop existing client relationships and succesfully close sales opportunities
- Providing support to the Country Director, Japan, on matters relating to business development strategy
- A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and assist with what needs to be done for a successfulprogram execution
- Assisting with aspects of events in Japan and assisting with selected events in thewider APAC region where required
- Maintain and grow business through a variety of sales activities, including telephone and direct email campaigns to company alumni, webcast and community event attendees and existing company sales contacts
- Proactively network across Government, Military and Commercial sectors
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with assigned accounts
- Translate Cyber Security industry developments into customer driven solutions
- Manage, deliver & exceed agreed targets, KPI's and other set objectives
- Monitor payment of customer invoices ensuring outstanding invoices and debts are settled in a timely manner
- Fully understand the company portfolio to generate quality opportunities and to be able to differentiate our offerings against those of our competitors
- Follow and understand the latest trends and developments in the cyber security industry
- Effectively articulate the company's business strategy & that of the wider company brand
- Support campaigns and events to help deliver revenue growth targets
- To develop and maintain an accurate sales forecast and robust pipeline
- To successfully develop and drive sales plans, using agreed methodologies
- Adhere to agreed sales processes and procedures
- To define and develop peer and executive relationships with the wider company teams
- Carry out additional responsibilities as requested by the management team
- Requirements

Minimum requirements:
- 4+ years proven experience in a field-based Business Development/Sales role
- English level: Business
- Flexible & a willingness to travel
- Be willing to work unscheduled hours when required
- Proven track record of delivering against targets within a field sales role
- Ability and experience planning, forecasting and reporting against sales plan and targets
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to manage change, whilst aligning and prioritising multiple demands
- Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient in delivering business results and projects
- Personable and capable to motivate the achievement of sales targets in a team effort
Preferred qualifications:- Field-based Business Development/Sales role within Government, Military or Commercial Sectors
- Experience selling in the Cyber Security sector
