Our client is a Japanese semiconductor manufacturer that provides products such as microcontrollers and system LSIs. Our offerings are utilized across a wide range of applications including embedded systems, automotive, industrial equipment, and home electronics. Particularly in the automotive sector, it supplies technologies like in-vehicle microcontrollers, driver assistance systems, and vehicle networks, contributing to the development of advanced vehicle electronics. Additionally, we develop products aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.

Responsibilities

Due to the M&A of multiple overseas semiconductor companies that have been implemented since 2017, it is necessary to strengthen the management and improvement of the global procurement process.We are looking for people who can play an active role in this field by making use of their knowledge and experience related to domestic and overseas procurement operations and business improvement. Main responsibilities:

• Global procurement process management centered on overseas affiliates
• Integration of departmental policies and procurement processes of each company
• Registration of new suppliers
• Implementation of risk monitoring

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Experience in promoting projects involving a wide variety of related departments
• Experience managing large scale system implementation projects
• Japanese level: business (spoken)
• English level : business (spoken) (TOEIC: 700+) 

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Procurement (buyer)
