Major Tasks / Activities:
- Represent Customer Quality Management at the customer in the assigned Region
- Act as Quality Interface between Customers in the respective Sales Region and the Plants
- Lead and ensure the effective Communication with Customer Representatives for Quality related matters
- Deep Understanding of Customer Requirements and expectations to ensure awareness and proper implementation in the affected the Plants
- Support the Account Teams during the acquisition of new customers for quality related matters (e.g. translation and understanding of customer specifications, quality agreements, requirements for delivery)
- Lead negotiation in case of conflicting requirements (Deep understanding of motivation for the requirement from the customer and the respective gaps in the capabilities)
- Conduct On-Site Visits at Customer sites and represent Quality during meetings
- Act as First Point of Contact for Customer requests and concerns (e.g. support on site trouble shooting at SMT lines or customer manufacturing sites where needed, requirements for customer audits etc.)
- Lead Quality Meetings with the Regional Customer Base and ensure the involvement of the relevant the Plant representatives w- Regular Visit of the Plants relevant to the sales region to have a deep understanding regarding the Quality and Manufacturing capabilities in the respective Plant
- Monitor non claimed disturbances at the customers manufacturing sites through regular communication and give an early warning to the manufacturing Plants
- Prepare regular Quality Reports following the CQM reporting guidelines and share Customer Quality Performance with the Account Teams and the Respective Manufacturing Plants including Customer related KPI’s
- Monitor Quality Indicators within customer score cards and initiate and track necessary improvements projects in the respective the sites
- Track and follow up all open issues relating to Quality from customers with the respective the Plant to ensure timely completion
- Prepare best in class examples for the Plants to ensure that Plants can live up to customer expectations (e.g. required information in 8D reports, expectation for Quality presentations towards customer etc.) here needed

Type of required functional knowledge (depth, breadth):
- Technical background (Bachelor +), experience in related industry (PCB, Electronics, or Semiconductor) preferred
- Broad experience in quality standards and management systems
- Excellent in Japanese & English (Chinese would be an asset)
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership, decisiveness and social skills (Strong team and social orientation)
- Ability to represent the company to external organisations (customers, suppliers,..)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good negotiation skills
- Willingness for business trips
- SMT & Assembly experience
- Quality Tools as PDCA, 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, SPC & Cpk calculation
- Understand ISO9001, IATF16969, VDA6.3, APQP/PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan concept.
- Proficiency in computer knowledge on Excel, Powerpoint and other related software
