- Responsibilities
-
This position will be developed through two phases:
Main responsibilities:- Phase 1 : Focus on Bottleneck and Escalation Management
- Problem shooting for Plants & Customers on supply risk per request
- Bottleneck Management together with plants, supplier, purchasing, sales, and engineer, if necessary, to avoid customer line stops
- Escalation Management across BUs for the commodities regarding the issues of capacities, finances, quantities, quality, and general bottlenecks for the plants/suppliers located in the responsible areas
- Regular Reporting to Regional CIAQ Head for bottleneck issues and other urgent cases
- Phase 2 – Focus on Continual Planning Optimization (including Supplier Audit, Supplier’s performance improvement, and Planning Optimization, etc)
- Supplier Management and Optimization o Applying regional SCM strategy within the responsible areas regarding customer logistics requirement, supplier management, negotiation of agreements with suppliers and customers, continual improvement at logistics quality. etc
- Planning and implementation of audits for supplier evaluation, incl. definition and tracking of improvement measures until supplier release
- Development and continuous improvement of suppliers’ delivery quality including performance tracking, deviation analysis, and optimization, integrated continued low performer into bottleneck management
- Contribution to Regional Logistics Quality Assurance Applying local methods and best practices for supplier management, especially in the following areas:
- Localize requirement of supplier audit, in collaboration with SQA
- Supply Chain Disruption Response Transport disruptions, Accidents and so on
- Apply the supplier scorecard methodology to the responsible areas.

- Requirements

Minimum requirements:
- University Bachelor degree or above
- Experience of centralized logistics and supplier management is strongly preferred
- Experience of logistics planning is strongly preferred (especially for sales & material)
- Experience and knowledge on manufacturing sector and SAP, especially on MM Module is strongly preferred
- Native / fluent Japanese and Business English language skills
Preferred qualifications:- Automotive experience is a big PLUS
