Our client is an American company that produces office furniture, equipment, and home furnishings.
Responsibilities
Sales lead generation and frequent visits to dealers, A&D and clients. The job is to develop interest and create buying potential for company products. This is both in partnership with the dealers and also independantly. To involve and co-ordinate the company and dealer resources against sales opportunities. To have ownership and be accountable for the opportunity until point of order and delivery.Provide accurate forecasting information in a timely manner and other useful market information.
Main responsibilities: 
  • Strong focus on identifying and creating sales opporunities for the company and dealers.
  • Promote the company's products and services at all times and act in the best interests of the business in order to meet and exceed the individual volume target.
  • Through frequent and regular visits build meaningful and productive relationships with the assigned dealer(s).
  • Involve specialist sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities. These would include Ergonomic Solutions, Global Account Management, international colleagues, and the US colleagues.
  • Own the day to day relationship and be the prime commercial contact of choice with designated dealers at all levels
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to the Management and ensure CRM system is accurate and updated
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • Must aquire strategic selling skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Must be able to communicate succinctly and fluently and in a compelling manner in both verbal and in written forms
  • Must demonstrate high levels of drive and energy and be self suffiecient
  • Must enjoy and work well in a team when relevant
  • Must be flexible to work long hours when required and prepared to make regular early starts
  • Must be numerate in the preparation of quotations and forecast information
  • Proven track record in B to B sales
  • Experience in the furniture and other FFE industries is preferred
  • Business level English 
  • Honest and with high levels of integrity
  • Flexbile with and receptive to different cultures
  • Methodical, hard working, ambitious and energetic
  • Ability to handle objections and minimise confrontation
  • Articulate and diplomatic
