Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects in Engineering Simulations (CAE/MBD) ensuring consistency with customer requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables for Product Lifecyle Management system projects.
• Implement and manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Provide clear direction and support to team members, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
• Interpret CAE results, draw conclusions, report and present work with design recommendations and actions items.
• Expert at understanding design requirements, formulating and implementing CAE strategies to aid in product development and solve testing/field failure issues.
• Accountable for making sure the plan is followed and is on track to meet the deadline of the gateway. Need to be monitoring the status, and should any roadblock arise, need to contact the right team, and find a solution.
• Coordination of specifications with development and business side organizations.
• Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly, maintaining strong client relationships.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Responding to and communicating with customer inquiries
• Manage and coordinate with internal/ external resources as needed.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• BE/BTECH or ME/MTECH in Mechanical or Automotive engineering with knowledge of automobile parts.
• Vehicle/unit development experience at an Automaker, major parts manufacturer, etc.
• Hands-on experience in multi-body dynamics simulations.
• Should have knowledge of CAE activities (durability, crash, NVH, CFD, MBD, etc.) for different gateways.
• Experience with Project Managements in automotive domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good verbal and written Communication Skills.
• Prior experience with automotive OEM is must.

Preferred qualifications:

• The ability to converse in Japanese is desirable.
