Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal EHS programs at offices and plants
• Ensure compliance of EHS permits and licenses. Manage and maintain permits.
• Provide EHS leadership and oversight of any EHS matters at the office and plant and new projects at these 2 sites
• Develop, lead and drive implementation of EHS strategy and programs that are aligned with global, regional, and local requirements and objectives mainly for office and plant, also aligning with and influence to the local leadership team, to foster strong EHS culture at business sites.
• Work closely and collaborate with other EHS members in Japan as one EHS team.
• Coordinate and facilitate EHS committee meetings and any EHS related meeting at the 2 sites
• Lead safety EHS program and ISO14001 and ISO45001 system
• Must have the knowledge and skill to integrate ISO14001 and ISO45001 system for whole of Japan
• Implement RA and continuous improvement of risk reduction activities
• Represent the company in Japan in responding to notifications, inquiries and visits to relevant authorities as well as customers related to EHS.
• Leading site sustainability activities in line with global activities such as waste management, energy usage reduction.
• Provide technical support to other domestic locations.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Experience as EHS manager for minimum five (5) years.
• English communication skill (TOEIC score above 700) both verbal and writing is MUST

Preferred qualifications:

• Handling manager of poisonous and deleterious substance (毒劇物管理責任者)
• Specially controlled industrial waste management manager (特別管理産業廃棄物管理責任者)
• Fire prevention/disaster prevention manager (防火防災責任者)
