Our client is a manufacturer for sound system used in many high class cars all over the world.

Responsibilities

Acoustic Engineer supports audio system design, conducts audio performance evaluation and tuning of vehicle audio system to achieve premium sound.
Main responsibilities:

• Support audio system design at concept stage
• Conduct audio system performance evaluation at concept stage.
• Complete concept car audio tuning and get both internal and customer agreement.
• Support speaker layout/package activities during development
• Conduct audio tuning of prototype vehicles at customer site and get agreement of both internal to company and customer.
• Documentation/reporting to internal and customer
• Conduct audits of production vehicles to make sure the acoustic performance are reproduced as intended.
• Conduct component level acoustic evaluation as needed.
• Submit required documents in related to activities above both internal and to customer.
• Attend design review to confirm audio performance as needed.
• Support our technology event – mainly conduct technical demonstration
• In vehicle and bench testing of amplifier function verification

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
• Fluent in oral and writing both for Korean and English.
• Demonstrates intensity, excitement, and enthusiasm for the work at hand.
• Has achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeps abreast of current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
• Actively identifies new areas for learning; regularly creates and takes advantage of learning opportunities; uses newly gained knowledge and skill on the job and learns through their application.
• Bachelor’s or Master degree of electrical engineering, acoustic engineering or physics required.
• Experience or knowledge in the acoustic design, analysis and measurement required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in automotive engineering preferred.
• Experience in software design, development preferred.
