Responsibilities
Posiition: Supply Planning, Import&Export SpecialistThis role is responsible for following up Supply Planning and all Import Export Processes including documentation, regulation follow up, transport scheduling, broker relations, Bonded warehouse operations to ensure that all Import / Export materials to be ready on time in full at desired location. To manage supply planning, the specialist keeps track of inventory, anticipates demand, and suggests purchases to ensure production continuity. This role should be able to identify and anticipate market trends and suggest purchases to maintain suitable stock levels.
Main responsibilities:
  • Supply Planning Role
    • Tracking the company’s current inventory
    • Analyzing available data from demand planning, inventory reports and other resources
    • Recommending changes to the way the company handles inventory
    • Anticipating factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or upcoming promotions
    • Managing the storage of inventory and materials
    • Maintaining enough inventory to meet demands without overstocking
    • Collaborating with operations, production and other supply chain department team members
    • Negotiating with vendors and suppliers
  • Import & Export Role
    • Applying and developing Import/Export procedures.
    • Following up and developing Import / Export logistics flows
    • Ensure contract availability in SAP with purchasing team
    • Clearly communicate schedules to interested parties.
    • Coordinate with the warehouse and planners
    • Import Export documentation preperation and follow up
    • Import Export regulation follow up Broker relations
    • Import Export transport organization
    • Import Export transport cost optimization
    • Purchase Order opening (PO) in SAP / Bounded warehouse Goods Receipt (GR) / External warehouse Goods
    • Receipt GR follow up / Invoice follow up and cost allocation for: Imported Cocoa Semi finish products, Cocoa raw materials, non cocoa raw materials and Packaging Materials Customer Care and Transport organization for Import Cocoa customers (semi finish goods)
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Trade, Logistics, Supply chain or similar experience in Import Export Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar preferably in Food Industry
  • 5 years of related work experience
  • Knowledgable in MS Office Applications, Google workspace and English proficiency both written and oral Strong analytical mindset and good communication skills **All applications must be submitted in English
