French clothing company. It sells clothing, footwear, eyewear, leather goods, perfume, towels and watches.
Responsibilities
The role of Wholesale Executive/ Manager is to execute the brand's strategy and to drive and deliver financial goals by developing strong partnership and maximize business opportunities with trade customers.
Main responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement effective wholesale activities for trade customers, such as department store, national retailer of sporting goods and “select shop” for the assigned categories
  • Propose, negotiate and implement product offering plan as well as promote Special Make-Ups (SMU) to existing/new trade customers to maximize sell-in opportunity
  • Propose, promote and implement effective retail marketing communication / tools /materials to drive sell-out on retail front
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in wholesale business of sporting goods.
  • Experience in working in B-to-B such as with department stores or “select shop”
  • 2+ years of people-management experience in a small- to-mid sized team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Japanese level: Native (written and spoken)
  • English level: Business (written and spoken)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above, or equivalent working experiences
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:
  • Understanding of fashion/FMCG business
  • Experience in multi-national environment
