Our client is a manufacturer of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the engineering team, to educate, influence and ensure quality is build into the designs of all of our products
• Will work to solicit the analysis of quality indicators to drive resolution
• Assist in project and program transition for PLC and CIP ( Customer improvement process) and partner to define quality targets, and establish reliability process
• Strong focus on incident management, working to identify the top incidents controllers (IC), using rigor drive towards resolution.
• Working with cross functional teams to institute a methodical approach to ensure that solutions are focused on root cause resolution.
• Responsible for conducti ng designated audits and assisting in audits
• Responsible for writing technical problem

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Material Science Engineering, Masters preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in semiconductor industry or heavy capital equipment in engineer role with a strong focus on quality
• Lean six sigma preferably a black belt
• Ability to collaborate with others in a global setting
• Ability to influence, persuade and position the value building in quality within products
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use logic and data to make factual assessments
• Reliable knowledge is strongly preferred
• Ability to drive resolution at the root cause level to ensure full resolution of quality issues.
