Our client is a manufacturer of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to understand our customers’ needs, and provide overall strategy and subsequentimplementati on with alignment with BUs to ensure we deliver service and value to meet even exceed customers’expectation.
• The aim is to increase new penetrati on opportunities, build customer relationships, manage process technology transfer from Japan to Taiwan, and overall business growth.
• You will report to the Global Account Director as a member of the global account team.
• Build and grow customer relationships.
• Evaluate, understand and identify current customer needs, while also anticipating future needs and buildinglong-term sustainable relati onship and solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure relevance of technical information used by internal and external stakeholders.
• Understand and build long-term innovative global technology systems that enable enhanced customerrelationships.
• Ensure communication vehicles, e.g. telephone, email, and presentation, etc. are able to facilitate efficientand consistent customer follow-up.
• Drive continuous improvement of the customer experience through team, process and support tool development.
• Build strong cross-functional and matrixed relationships and collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Development, Service Engineering, and others to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Drive projects across multiple customer sites that secure business and build trust in their capabilities.
• Coordinate management reviews and alignment.
• Be able of holding commercial discussions if necessary.

Requirements

• English and Japanese speaking.
• Bachelor of Science/Master Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of broad technical experience and deep business perspective preferably in the Semiconductor / Capital Equipment industry.
• Strong market and industry knowledge and awareness of trends associated with our customer’s environments to properly develop and deploy customer solutions
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills with proven track record to drive changes and implement changes to benefit the organizati on.
• Familiar with high complexity low volume environment.
• Proven success in building collaborative partnerships with customers and internal organizations
• Experienced working with local, regional and global teams.
• High level of collaborati on and work across otherdivisions – both co-located and globally to meet common goals and targets
• Strong industry experience managing teams that support complex instrumentation, applications and informatics by phone and at customer locations.
