Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, and GL entries.
• Manage all aspects of the financial cycle
• Prepare and analyze key financial statements to provide insights for informed decision-making.
• Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to maintain financial integrity.
• Oversee tax preparation and filing procedures.
• Partner with internal teams for accurate project costing and performance tracking.
• Uphold strict compliance with all relevant accounting regulations.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes for optimal efficiency.
• Deliver financial analysis and recommendations to drive strategic initiatives and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting, Finance, or a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proven track record of success in an accounting role.
• In-depth knowledge of core accounting principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software and strong competency in spreadsheet applications.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
• The ability to excel in both independent and collaborative work environments.
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
• Ability to flourish in a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
