Our client is a multinational information technology and electronics company. Their main business is in the manufacturing of hardware.

Responsibilities

• Understands the market/customer requirements properly and interprets them in architect/high level design of embedded SW(BIOS/EC) for motherboard of PCs.
• Leads detailed functional design of embedded SW(BIOS/EC) and define technical spec.(software IF & user IF)
• Leads actually performs the debugging and evaluation of their embedded SW(BIOS/EC)
• Leads and/or actually performs problem resolution
• Leads/perform the unit testing
• Communicates with HW design team to optimize motherboard design
• Communicates with OS & Application team to optimize SW IF & User IF of embedded SW(BIOS/EC)
• Communicates with Device team to optimize the implementation of subsystems from embedded SW point view
• Communicate with Worldwide NECPC development team and external ODM companies to support their development activities
• Report the development status to the project manager and the people manager
   

Requirements

Must Have – essential:

• Experience in SW design of PC/Smartphone/Tablet/Consumer Electronics for more than 3 years
• Understand the technical specification of SW and subsystems written in English
• SW Programing and Analysis with debugger
• Problem solving skills
• Communication skills in Business English (TOEIC score 400)
• Communication ability to explain logically
• Positive attitude

Good to have - desirable:

• Experience in PC embedded SW design & development more than 5 years
• Knowledge and experience on PC architecture at the level she/he can explain what it is & how it works briefly to others
• Knowledge and development experience of C, C++ and SW on Windows
• Work experience at oversea
• Project management skill
• TOEIC score more than 600
