業務内容

The role reports to the Head of Integrated Technology Services and requires deep expertise and a successful track record of delivering solutions on Azure and other cloud platforms. As a key enabler to work with infrastructure and application development leadership teams to serve the business, selected candidates will be familiar with cloud migration, adoption roadmaps, cloud-native solution architectures, and best practices on cloud platforms. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to drive technology strategy within the company. This position manages all clouds (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.) and directly manages all SRE and support engineering teams. Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure PaaS infrastructure and services for Metlife environments.
• Ability to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-class security, network, and systems management applications within Azure and other cloud environments.
• Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for Azure and other cloud platforms.
• Ability to directly manage and be responsible for a large number of staff.
• Implement process and quality improvements through task automation. Codify your infrastructure and implement security automation, automation of routine maintenance tasks, and more.
• Assist with data migration from on-premises environments to Azure and other cloud solutions.
• Support the business development lifecycle (business development, capture, solution architect, pricing and proposal development).
• Manage and grow the careers of staff under your management.
• Assumes tasks and responsibilities outside of normal scope as needed.
• Management tasks such as budgeting and forecasting, contracts, resources, and invoices.
• Most importantly, we push the limits of the company technology stack every day.

 

応募条件

Minimum requirements:

• Oral and written communication in business-level English and Japanese
• Extensive experience with Azure (Compute, AKS, Azure Storage, Azure App Service models, Azure Networks)
• 8+ years of leadership and talent management experience in a diverse workplace
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 10+ years of experience working in IT
• Over 2 years of management network activities such as NW routing, firewall, NW dump analysis, and NW monitoring.
• 2+ years of management activities including web technologies, TLS, DNS, load balancers, reverse proxies, WAF and HTTP/S session analysis using PKI infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience delivering and setting up cloud-native technologies while ensuring appropriate security controls and durability as standard design.
• 5+ years of experience helping application developers onboard applications to cloud-based application platforms.
• 5+ years of product/platform management experience in agile methodologies such as SAFe
• 2+ years of experience dealing with and negotiating with internal/external auditors.
• Communicate effectively within the engineering team and with other technical and business teams.
• Motivated and capable of solving complex problems.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate concepts to business and technical stakeholders as well as senior management.
• Works independently with minimal direction and is organized.

 Preferred qualifications:

• Various certifications related to cloud-related technologies
