- 戦略とロードマップの定義、需要管理と供給BRMヘッドの指導の下、割り当てられたドメインのグローバルなIT戦略を計画、開発、所有、推進する。
そのため、すべての地域と事業部門にわたり、割り当てられたサブドメインにおけるIT投資のビジネス需要を促進、形成、管理する。ビジネスニーズを満たす適切なアプローチを選択し、ドメイン間の依存関係（リスクと機会の両方）を管理する。優先度の高い需要を、有効なITソリューションと明確に定義されたプロジェクト（適切な範囲設定と明確な利益の定義）に確実に変換する。複雑で大規模な、またはリスクの高いビジネスの変化場合は、必要に応じてBRMヘッドに相談する。
BRMヘッドの支援を得て、対象となるドメインに関連するITシステムのビジネス・キャパシティ・モデルとシステム・ランドスケープに関する複数年のロードマップを確立し、維持する。データ管理、BI、およびOT（運用テクノロジー）ロードマップと同期する。提案、分析、推奨事項、ベンダーとの実行に必要なグローバルな要求を特定し、実行する。
企業の使命、計画および優先順位をアプリケーション・ドメインおよび関連するIT部門に伝達し、調整し、関係付け、IT配信組織と連携して、適切なサポートを計画し、提供する。
プロジェクトの準備が完了したら、BRMはソリューション・デリバリおよびインフラストラクチャ・アンド・サービス提供チームと緊密に連携して、ITデリバリを満たす責任を負う。プロジェクトが完了したら、学習と改善のレビュープロセスを確立し、ビジネス価値の創出を継続的に強化する。
ステークホルダー管理と関係構築BRMヘッドと協力して、経営幹部のビジネスのステークホルダーとその直属の部下を指導し、デジタルリテラシーを継続的に高め、ビジネス・パフォーマンスを向上させるテクノロジーのニーズと要件を明確にし、テクノロジーの進歩と市場の成功事例を積極的に共有できるようにし、エンタープライズ・ロードマップの作成については、エンタープライズ・アーキテクチャに相談する。
IT組織のチーフアドボケイトとして、企業アーキテクチャやインフラストラクチャ／アプリケーション戦略などのIT目標と連携しているプロジェクトを理解し、サポートし、適切に資金を提供できるように、ドメイン管理者に情報を提供し、影響を与える際にBRMヘッドをサポートする。IT計画と変更、およびビジネスパフォーマンスや計画に与える影響について企業に通知する。
社内のVoCプロセス（内部顧客の声）を実行して、ITサービス提供に対する満足度を評価し、ITプロジェクトとサービスによって提供される価値をさらに高めるためにIT／事業部門に必要な改善点を特定する。
