業務内容

This role offers the opportunity to build and lead export control operations within a technology-driven organization expanding its international activities. You will be responsible for establishing and operating an export compliance framework while supporting global business growth and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Main responsibilities:

• Design and operate export control processes that balance international business expansion with compliance under Japanese and international trade control regulations, including the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Establish and manage a security export control compliance program (CP)
  • Develop export control compliance procedures and manage related applications and updates
  • Establish internal policies and conduct employee training
  • Handle filings and reviews with relevant government authorities
• Establish and make final determinations on export classification processes
  • Conduct inventory reviews of products, technologies, and software
  • Prepare and maintain export classification assessments and supporting documentation
  • Verify EAR applicability and ECCN classifications
  • Coordinate assessments and oversight activities with research and development teams
• Conduct customer and business partner screening and manage regulatory applications
  • Perform customer and end-use reviews, including sanctions screening
  • Manage license applications and interactions with authorities
• Manage deemed exports, re-exports, and access controls
  • Review technology disclosures involving foreign nationals
  • Verify nationality and regulatory classifications where required
  • Design and manage access permissions
  • Support employee onboarding, transfers, departures, and business travel compliance requirements
  • Develop and operate sensitive technology management plans
• Support research and development activities and international business initiatives
  • Provide export control guidance for joint research and technology transfer projects
  • Manage information disclosure controls for business meetings, conferences, and technical events
  • Design export control measures related to cloud-based services and API offerings
• Coordinate with business functions and internal systems while managing export control data

応募条件

Minimum requirements:

• Practical experience in security export control and trade compliance
• Experience at a listed company or a manufacturer of similar scale involving export classification, license applications, and compliance program operation under Japanese export control regulations
• Knowledge of and experience with U.S. EAR, Entity List restrictions, OFAC sanctions, and re-export controls
• Understanding of advanced hardware and software technologies, including semiconductors, precision electronics, control systems, and communications technologies, with the ability to engage directly with engineers on technical assessments
• Experience establishing or improving export control frameworks
• Business-level or higher English proficiency（TOEIC score of 800 or above）
