The candidate will be responsible for leading suppliers and engineering teams in developing products to meet product groups needs. In addition the candidate will be required to have strong problem solving, project management, and communication skills to support product development activities. The candidate will be responsible for conducting supplier process audits to ensure manufacturing processes are in place to produce reliable products in a repeatable manner. Furthermore the candidate will be required to provide input to design engineering during the product development phases.Project management duties are a must and include working with cross-functional teams consisting of supply business management, engineering, manufacturing, field service and suppliers to provide feedback and requirements during new product development through to production release. Main responsibilities: Provides expertise in manufacturing processes for OEM Products, Robots, Elastomers, Valves, Heaters, Loadports. Provides Design-For-Manufacturing inputs to design engineers for wafer handling solutions. Ensures suppliers' manufacturing processes are in place to produce reliable products in a repeatable manner; develops and audits quality control systems. Conduct supplier process audit, risk assessments and drives closure on improvement actions. Manages suppliers and analytical labs to perform failure analyses of parts for development and failure analysis Leads development activities with suppliers and product groups in developing products to meet product groups' needs. Conducts supplier assessments (with emphasis on manufacturing capabilities and quality management systems) of new and existing suppliers.
