業務内容

Main responsibilities:

• Review monthly accounting close under US GAAP.
• Prepare quarterly closings under Japan GAAP.
• Prepare tax filings and corporate tax returns (including temporary/permanent differences and consumption tax analysis).
• Handle projects such as mergers, liquidations, and implementing new tax rules.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement variance analysis.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under local accounting standards.
• Calculate inter-company chargebacks (e.g., data center cost allocation).
• Lead/execute projects including building internal processes for tax audit response and new accounting/tax rules.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and advise stakeholders on accounting/tax treatment.
• Assist with tax audit responses.

応募条件

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in accounting/finance).
• US CPA or qualified tax accountant, or passing relevant exam subjects preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance of an overseas subsidiary or 3+ years in an accounting/tax firm.
• Strong logical thinking, willingness to learn, and problem-solving ability.
• Advanced accounting and tax skills:
  • US GAAP and/or Japan GAAP understanding.
  • Monthly closing experience.
  • Corporate tax and consumption tax analysis experience.
  • Experience with international tax (transfer pricing, consumption tax).
  • Tax audit response experience.
• Internal control experience, including US SOX compliance, is a plus.
• Business-level English proficiency (able to explain accounting/tax matters in English
