■Job Description
You will develop and manage both front-end and back-end components of connected car applications for Android Automotive OS and mobile platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, program applications, and perform quality assurance.
As projects grow in complexity due to business expansion, you will lead initiatives, utilizing your experience to drive development tasks effectively.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, implement scalable solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of different layers of our software stack.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Design and Development: Create and maintain front-end and back-end components of connected car applications for the Android Automotive platform, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and robust server-side logic.
●Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for automotive applications.
●Code Quality:
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code that follows best practices, conduct thorough testing and debugging, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
●Integration and Deployment:
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate and deploy applications within the automotive ecosystem using continuous integration and deployment practices.
●Mentorship:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.

- You will be primarily responsible for developing mobile applications for EV owners at the company. The development team operates as a single team with a mix of Android and iOS, and we aim to develop both OS simultaneously as much as possible. We base our development on agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, but we are flexible in changing our formation to achieve the desired deliverables depending on the phase of the development lifecycle.
Main responsibilities:
Developing various services and functions necessary for mobile apps focused on vehicle control and monitoring.
As an iOS engineer, you will be responsible for Swift-based UI development and the binding part with the KMP layer, which is common to both OS.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for defining API schemas, which is led by app engineers.
