業務内容

Main responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional engineers to translate product’s needs to software epics, features, use cases, stories and requirements for new products and technology roadmaps.
• Using broad technical expertise and experience, take a lead of software development in design, development, test, refactoring and continuously improvement in product software for MICT product lines
• Write code that meets quality standards and delivers desired functionality using appropriate technology to expected timelines
• Apply Agile, Lean, Software FMEA and Continuous Integration methodologies to drive reliability upstream in the product development lifecycle.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge, keep abreast of emerging software technologies and apply them to MICT software.

応募条件

Minimum requirements:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Software or a closely related field. 
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in Software Development.
• Proven hands-on experience in the following areas:
  • 4+ years of core Java/C++ programming experience with experience in a multi-threaded development
  • 1+ years of experience in writing unit tests and automated integration tests
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and hands on experience in Linux based OS.
  • Experience in writing scripts using python, shell scripts, groovy and any other script languages.
  • Familiarly with containerization (docker), Kubernetes, and virtualization technology
• Familiarity with iterative product development and program management techniques including Agile and use of a CI/CD development pipeline.
• Business level English communication skill to drive global development work
• Effective communication skills - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
• Must be legally authorized to work in Japan full-time.

Preferred qualifications:

• MS Degree in Computer Science, information technologies or a closely related field.
• Experience of microservice development with REST and API development, Knowledge of YAML to build models
• Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
• Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
• Conversational level Japanese communication skill
• Experiences of global development team lead
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
