業務内容

Main responsibilities:

• Assist in performing technical support for all segments of the organization
• Technical support for customers including machine and process troubleshooting
• Perform individually or with peers on scientific or engineering projects 
• Assist in performing scientific or mathematical analysis and calculations
• Assist design/conduct complex laboratory experiments/field tests 
• Interpret and communicate results
• Contribute ideas which improve our product or processes
• Understand and interpret business and technology trends 
• Perform other related duties or similar nature and complexity as directed

応募条件

Minimum requirements:

• Education: BA/BS(4 years)
• Work experience: 5+ years Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences with 5 years of professional experience.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. (16kg) for short periods of time. SDS/Toxic gas handling and use of  respiratory.
• Work in clean room environment.
• Native Japanese language skills. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English sufficiently well to perform job functions: TOEIC >680, TOEFL >520 or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc. a must.
• Travel up to 50% working at customer site for extended term or pre/post-sales support. 
• Initial 4-6 weeks training likely at overseas site and/or overseas headquarters; Thereafter, occasional USA or Asia business travel possibly once a year
• Ability to: Interface, negotiate, and coach customers on technical problems in both proactive and reactive mode. Apply scientific method to difficult problems. Logically analyze data and technical information. Design experiments and statistical process control techniques. Research information. Prepare technical written reports. Make corrective plans. 
• Recommend changes in design standards and polices. Apply technical troubleshooting to customers. Demonstrate integrity and trust. Demonstrate creativity on the job. Organize work. Learn on the fly.
• Knowledge of: Multiple aspects of semiconductor equipment subsystems. Basic implanter physics. Beam optics. Dosimetry systems, Vacuum technology. Temperature measurement systems. Semiconductor fabrication and device physics. Clean room protocols and wafer processing. Implant chemical analysis techniques. Implant and wafer metrology. Basic business, accounting & financial practices. Basic management techniques. Supervising others.
• Skilled at: Using PC. Guiding others through technical issues. Personal communications. 
• Delivering formal training & presentations. Interpreting engineering standards and forms. 
• Applying knowledge to the solution of difficult problems. Written communication. Time management. Technical learning. Problem solving. Priority setting.

ポイント

Note: This is a location-independent position, meaning you can be hired regardless of where you live, as the role is remote. Position involves travel.
