Role OverviewAs a Project Leader in our IT and Data Management (ITDM) department, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of  IT development projects within our organization. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills in Japanese, and the ability to collaborate with business units to understand their requirements and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should be adept at writing test cases and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, familiarity with cloud-based technologies is essential for the effective execution of projects. ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership:·      Coordinate projects under the guidance of the project manager.·      Independently lead small projects.·      Progressively take on larger projects, and work toward becoming a full project leader and eventually a project manager. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:·      Engage with business units to understand their development needs, business flows, and functional requirements.·      Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify project requirements, scope, and objectives, and ensure alignment with overall business goals. Technical Expertise:·      Work closely with developers, providing guidance and facilitating efficient communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.·      Support software testing, write test cases, and perform testing. Communication:·      Employ exceptional communication skills in Japanese, facilitating clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• ·      Coordinate with international vendor teams and communicate in English when required.

応募条件

Required Experience/Qualifications·      Native, or near-native, ability in verbal and written Japanese.·      Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.·      Proven experience in project leadership in website and/or other IT development projects.·      Communication skills (independent of language)o  Must be an excellent listener.o  Must be able to explain complicated topics clearly and simply.·      Ability to work collaboratively with business units to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.·      Experience in coordinating software testing and/or writing test cases. Preferred Experience/Qualifications·      Business-level proficiency in English.·      Strong technical background with proficiency in website development technologies and cloud-based solutions.·      Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.·      Experience with project and/or issue (ticket) management software.·      Formal qualifications or certifications in project management or technical areas.
