業務内容

Product Focus:

• Defines product vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Defines the nature and scope of present and future product lines by generating, developing, and curating new product ideas and changes.
• Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
• Responsible for design requirements and specifications
• Maintains and creates cross references, product and marketing documents.

Market Focus:

• Oversees customer qualifications and product launches.
• Collaborates with Market Unit to develop sales and marketing strategies.
• Assesses product market data by interviewing customers and evaluating sales call results.
• Provides training, support and guidance to sales and marketing and, customers.
• Recommends product changes to improve customer satisfaction.
• Drives margin improvement through changes in materials, product choice and design, and by increases in volume.
• Delivers technical support directly to customers.
• Reviews inventory for excess and obsolete stock.
• Evaluates market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
• Serve as the go-to person for market intel on competitor offering and applications trends.
• Compiles and present statistic and information for management review.
• Collaborates with Product Engineering on an as needed basics.

応募条件

• Bachelor's degree (engineering) from a four-year college or university; minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical designs, background in customer facing position highly desirable
• Language Skills: (Japanese and English)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business communications, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to of managers and customers.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fraction percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of formal and informal verbal and technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
