業務内容

• Results-oriented and able to manage time efficiently and complete tasks on schedule
• Support for internal design engineers/FAEs and external customers to solve technical issues.
• Work with technical marketing, system architect, design engineer and FAE for IC device functions and specifications definition
• Conduct power device evaluation and debugging on chip and system level.
• Based on customer applications, work with technical marketing/system engineer to promote Renesas system solutions.
• Create technical documents (datasheet, evaluation report, application note) with technical write and TPL (Technical Project Leader)
• Develop necessary hardware and software to enable comprehensive silicon device evaluation: demo board schematic design; PCB layout review; simulation; interface with layout facility; board testing; software tools development
• Provide first line technical support during customer design phase, including system integration and system debugging.
• Document errata to support necessary device modifications and develop workaround solutions
• Work with Quality engineer, Test engineer & Product engineer for device reliability test and qualification

応募条件

• Degree level qualification in E&E engineering or a related discipline typically required.
• 5+ years’ (senior) or 8+ years’(principal) experience as application engineer or FAE at switcher, charger or power management field. (Automotive customers supporting experience is preferred)
• Applications and system level knowledge of Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost convertor, LDO, Load Switch, Charger or power management system
• Experience with power devices electrical verification and performance evaluation.
• Experience of IC board level hardware design and capability to provide first line applications support
• Written and verbal English communication skill
• Developing demo board including PCB design and component selection
• Mentoring and supervising skills for other junior engineers
• May require oversea business travel for FAE training and customer’s support.
• Experience or knowledge in Python (script development) for chip auto-measurement is welcomed, but not mandatory requirement.
