- Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of hiring ranging from junior/mid to some senior level requisitions with ability to attract, assess and close quality candidates. In addition to recruitment, he or she will take on both local and regional projects. Main responsibilities:
- End to end management of the recruitment process
- Planning & implementation of the hiring plan
- Ensure successful recruitment within the set SLAs while utilizing cost-saving yet effective channels including direct sourcing
- Either lead or take key part in various projects
- Gain understanding of business situation and critical requirements for target search
- Deliver the targeted objectives and effectively implement the organization’s strategy
- Manage and develop sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, online postings, referrals and other creative search methods
- Act as critical point of contact for stakeholder management and seamlessly integrate the needs of multiple stakeholders ranging from the candidate to the Hiring Manager and top Management
- Design recruitment strategies and streamline the hiring process to close vacant positions in time; generate “ready to deploy” talent pool for future hires
- Streamline all backend activities, Workday, pre-boarding, documentation and coordination.
- Update status and other weekly and monthly reports and organize weekly update meetings with Stakeholders / Hiring Managers
- Design recruitment tools and processes that relate directly to business needs, including selection and assessment tools, customized sourcing initiatives and talent management best practices
- Play a key role as a project member within APAC or Global TA
- Lead or play a key role for local projects/initiatives
- Lead categorical recruitment such as new graduates, diversity hires, disability hires

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5+ years’ experience of Talent Acquisition
- Functional competencies
- Strong recruitment skills including interviewing, managing its process and closing
- Capability to understand business model and business situation, then link to its requirements
- Self-starter with the ability to recruit for multiple level positions
- Strong interview/assessment skills; ability to attract and close
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- High follow up and organizational skills
