Responsibilities

Join a pioneering leader in Connected Mobility Solutions as a Mechanical Engineer! Take charge of designing automotive USB modules and wireless chargers, leading discussions with top Japanese OEMs. Work closely with global teams and support engineering tasks including 3D models and test plans. Be the bridge to the future of automotive technology!

• Lead technical discussions with Japanese OEMs for new product proposals as well as issue resolution and technical support
• Design responsible for Engineering drawings, Bill of Materials, 3D models, test plans, and other engineering tasks
• Coordinate globally with engineering functions in North America, Europe, China and India
• Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to support current Molex products
• Lead the Engineering document preparation basis on J-OEM requirements.
• Support in environmental testing preparation and reporting
• Support in lighting design and simulation
• Support mechanical engineering aspects of RFIs and RFQs for jOEMS

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 1+ years of Mechanical engineering design experience
• 1+ years of engineering customer window experience
• Presentation skill to explain logically and simply.
• 3D CAD operation.
• Innovative, big-picture thinking with strong communication/collaboration skills and highly self-motivated
• Ability to travel both domestic and international (US/China/India). 5-10% travel expected.
