- Responsibilities

As the Company continues its journey to enable first-class software engineering and operations, we are looking for an experienced and talented senior product designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conducting user research and translating them into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. You will also be responsible for making careful design decisions and driving product enhancement as part of the product team.You will have the opportunity to work in a community where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, simplicity and efficiency are essential. You will work closely with IT delivery teams and designers with different products focus to advance transversal UX initiatives such as design systems and accessibility.
Main responsibilities:- Product Design and Delivery
- Be in charge of overall design deliveries for one or more products.
- Communicate design solutions effectively with multiple stakeholders and understand the issue.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create effective solutions for product enhancement.
- Ensure the design deliverables meet user needs and align with business objectives.
- Conduct and lead user research to identify customer insights and transform them into solutions.
- Design or oversee the design of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Manage UI/UX vendor sourcing and performance for assigned product.
- Identify and troubleshoot UIUX problems (eg usability, responsiveness).
- Transversal Initiatives
- Lead transversal UX activities across Japan and collaborate with the Global Group UX experts to share best practices in UX.
- Work on Design System, creating reusable components to reduce development costs while maintaining high UX standards.
- Define UI/UX guidelines & standards and up-to-date them to meet emerging business needs and trends.
- UX evangelism across the organization.

- Requirements

Minimum requirements:
- Experience in UIUX design for apps or web services.
- Experience with user research (interviews, surveys, user testing, heuristic analysis…etc.).
- Understand design principles, style guides, and be able to give UI design input and review.
- Experience creating, using, and maintaining design systems.
- Proficient in using prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma…etc.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS.
- Leadership skills and ability to drive projects in collaboration with team members.
- Independent thinker and proactive to move tasks forward.
- Not be afraid of challenging the existing process and striving for the best, but also is willing to work as a team member and compromise.
- The ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Be able to talk on equal footing with the business side and the developer side.
- English: Business level or Above
- Japanese: Level N2 or above
Preferred qualifications:- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-moving team (such as a start-up).
- Experience working in a multinational team.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
- Experience in managing/working with vendors.
