Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance on people and organizational issues: Employee Relations, Talent
  • Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management and HR initiatives.
  • Help the organization grow by diagnosing gaps between current and desired organization performance, provide strategic counsel to leadership and deploy actions to help resolve gaps in the areas of organizational effectiveness, organizational design, talent management, succession, employee development, executive coaching, and employee relations.
  • Working with COE team, evolve and embed talent strategies to enable diversity, inclusion, and engagement.
  • You will partner with our HR COE’s (e.g. total rewards/benefits, talent acquisition, talent and org development, communications) in support of HR programs, projects and activities and serve as the liaison for the site employee population ensuring a high-quality level of service is provided.
  • Develop and lead Japan HR Business Partner team, contribute to the HR transformation underway.
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • Experience and ability to deliver in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment.
  • Success working in a collaborative, matrixed environment, and a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact.
  • Experience managing change, shaping culture, influencing leadership, developing talent, managing risk, and ensuring compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to address difficult issues and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to think critically, troubleshoot and solve problems with confidence.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years progressive Human Resources experience in areas like; employee relations, talent management, compensation & benefits, performance management, recruiting, and training.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, Workday preferred
