Responsibilities

Strategies and projects:

• Contribute to implement indirect sourcing strategies, rules, processes and projects in relationship with relevant groups, including: selecting qualified supplier, conducting routine management, controlling cost, gaining business acceptance and implementation, etc.
• Consistently seek new areas of cost reduction, demand containment, specification optimization and value enhancement across all aspects of the business.
• Support to global /regional on System/ Tools

Operations:

• Conduct purchasing projects (specification work, sourcing, negotiation, contract, coordination/ implementation) in close partnership with the stakeholders and in accordance with IDP guidelines.
• Establishes strong working relationships with key customers/opinion leaders (internal) and demonstrates accountability with a focus on IDP strategy.
• Select and manage performing suppliers, define KPIs, evaluate and manage supplier performance and compliance – provide expertise and support (deliverables, best practices, framework…).
• Accomplish the IDP KPIs target such as savings, cash flow improvement, supplier panel establishment, contract conclusion, supplier CSR obtainment 

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• English level: Business
• Japanese level: Business
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement
• Knowledge of negotiation techniques and practices(Prices, terms of payment, terms of trade, delivery shedules, contractual terms, etc.), and understanding of contract law(Subcontract ACT etc.)
• Budget performance data management & analysis (purchase prices and cost savings)

• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic supplier relationship
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in both English and Japanese.
• Understanding of contracts and contract law
• Competent in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

【Nice to have】

• 3 years’ experience in procurement in automotive industry.
• Experience of facility management, HR & R&D service commodities as a procurement staff
• Knowledge of SAP system and Purchase Requisition & PO issuance system
