Our client, a subsidiary of a major internet service company, operates a digital payment service, promoting the shift to a cashless society. They offer a wide range of payment methods, including credit cards, e-money, and QR code payments. In addition, they provide payment systems and solutions for merchants and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

As Lead Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for system design, defining requirements, basic design, environmental design, implementation, testing and launch.
Main responsibilities:

• Design and develop business logic such as APIs and batch processing
• Design and develop business flow/ business operation tools, etc.
• Operate and conduct maintenance on payment systems
• Communicate with the company's numerous other platforms and infrastructures
• Discuss technical guidelines, technical reviews, and coach/train junior engineers
• Promote issue discovery and improvement activities

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• 3+ years of Java development experience
• 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing open systems
• Knowledge and experience of database and system infrastructure

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing and operating mission-critical systems
• Experience developing and operating consumer services
• Experience developing large-scale, high-capacity systems
• Motivated to challenge new services and cutting-edge technologies
• Knowledge of payment system and point system
• Knowledge and experience in microservices architecture
