Responsibilities

The Data & Reporting Analyst is a member of Financial Planning & Analysis. You will collaborate and partner with the Finance Business Partners from the same team. You will work with large sets of data to identify trends, patterns and other useful information that can be used by business units and management team to make better decisions on our efficiency and profitability. Also, you are asked with presenting their findings in a clear and a concise way so that they can be easily understood by others. This will include creating reports, charts, graphs etc.
More specific roles and responsibilities are below:

• Preparing reports that include detailed analysis of data and the reasons behind business results
• Data extraction, manipulation, and upload to/from various financial reporting and planning tools
• Creating visual representations of data using charts, graphs etc.
• Collecting and analyzing financial data to identify financial trends and potential risks or opportunities for investment within the company’s portfolio
• Designing and developing financial models to support valuation, planning and forecasting
• Creating and utilizing BI tools and various spreadsheets to support analysis and provide insights
• Reviewing forecasting and reporting processes to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills and Other Core Competencies

• Strong data analytical skills to identify problems and come up with solutions on time
• Intermediate ~ advanced skills in data management – experience of advanced formula in Excel/Power BI/Power Query/Macro
• Understanding and experience of SAP / BPC
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and full of drive
• Team player and Effective communication skills with stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal communications skills both verbal and written in English
• Ability to multi-tasks, work under pressure, meet deadlines and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Experience

• Working experience in Finance or data analysis related roles
• Working in multi-national companies with global colleagues
• Project management experience (Preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Preferred)
