Our client is a venture company that is actively addressing the planet's space debris problem by making serious strides in removing space debris from the planet's orbit. They also collaborate with other companies, organizations, and government agencies in a joint effort to formulate guidelines and laws for responsible space exploration and use.
Responsibilities
  • Design electrical equipment & components.
  • Create specifications for electronic devices and electronic control devices.
  • Adjust the interface of electronic devices and electronic control devices.
  • Coordinate with subsystem and system designers.
  • Plan, prepare and conduct electrical tests of components and subsystems.
  • Design test cables for electrical and electronic control devices and subsystem tests.
  • Make technical adjustments with the suppliers and manufacturers of electronic devices, electronic control devices and cables.
  • Perform equipment-level environmental tests such as vibration tests, thermal cycle tests, and electrical tests.
  • Perform interface tests with other subsystems.
  • Evaluate and verify test results.
Requirements
  • Over 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer
  • Have basic knowledge of electrical system design
  • Have one of the following experiences:
-Experience in digital device / circuit design and analysis-Experience in analog equipment / circuit design and analysis-Experience in designing and analyzing digital-to-analog mixed equipment and circuits-Experience in developing embedded software
  • Have a TOEIC score of 600 or higher in English
  • Has Japanese ability close to that of a native speaker
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in developing electronic control devices with mounted processors 
  • Knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mechanism and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Failure Tree Analysis)
  • Basic knowledge of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
  • Experience using PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB, Scilab, etc.
  • Harness and instrumentation design experience
  • Experience in thermal design and thermal analysis of electrical equipment housings
  • Thermal vacuum test planning and implementation experience
