CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a global industrial manufacturing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Engineering Services division is looking for a control systems (MBSE-MBD-Controls) project engineer. After an initial international training of a few months, the project engineer will work for customers in Japan. He will be part of an international project team, proving and deploying by applying the advanced controls technological process in support of concrete automotive engineering. He will closely work on projects at the customer site and deploy results of projects carried out in Japan and overseas groups in US and Europe. He will support customer engineering staff in deploying the results while also defining the prioritization of next steps with customer and the project leadership.
- Identifying the measurement and analysis tasks and translating into technical work packages
- Keep track of clients satisfactions during the project and take proactive actions for high satisfaction
- Delivery of engineering results
- Investigation of next steps after closing, transferring leads to the business development team
- Working in project teams, as well as team member or as project manager
- Contributing to the technology development
REQUIREMENTS:
- Theoretical understanding of system dynamics and controls engineering
- control systems modeling and simulation, model-based simulation driven testing for automotive applications. Experience with automotive control design tools and processes that enable and support Model Based Development (MBD) activities.
- Background in automotive powertrain applications or autonomous systems is a plus.
- Experience in physical plant modeling.
- Programming skills: Amesim, C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
- Experience in setting up and using Model-In-the-Loop (MIL), Software-In-the-Loop(SIL) and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) technologies for controller development andtesting.
- Experience in advanced control techniques such as optimal control, model predictive control, observer design, etc. Expertise in any of these・Optimization techniques, Dynamic programming, Numerical methods and computational techniques – would be a plus
