  • Work as part of sales team to achieve common revenue and growth target.
  • Provide technical assessment of customer applications in pre-sales situation for ADC product opportunities, to suggest solution to best meet performance, service and price requirement of customers.
  • To successfully develop and implement product solution for demonstration to customers or in the performance verification test.
  • Provide technical support in post-sales situations for issue cause analysis and fixing.
  • Able to quickly analyze a technical problem through customer’s sample evaluations, recommend and implement a solution to meet the customers’ requirements, able to deliver effective presentation and demonstration of technical solutions to both large and small technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Other responsibilities include: supporting and participating in various Datalogic’s system capabilities during trade shows, preparing and conducting technical seminar presentation, and supporting beta customers.
  • Provide front-line technical support. Interface and coordinate with global technical support group to meet customers’ satisfaction.
  • Conduct product training courses to internal colleagues and external customers.
  • Extensive business travelling may be required.
  • Other responsibility may be assigned.
  • Knowledge and experience of ADC (Automatic Data Capture) or IA (Industrial Automation) products/solutions and related application is highly preferred
  • Rich application knowledge in Retail or Manufacturing or Logistics is a big plus.
  • Good problem solving skill including observation, analysis and experiment, solution development capability.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency with various analytic tools.
  • Knowledge of the sale processes.
  • Overall revenue within a giving territory.
  • Win rate and productivity on supported project.
  • Achieve the main the performance KPI defined in MBO (Management By Objective) Plan.
  • Align with Company culture with a sense of ownership.
  • BS or MS in an engineering field such as Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of optics and lighting is a big plus.
  • Japanese. Need to communicate in English as well.
  • Experience supporting ADC or IA products is required.
  • Understanding of the common industrial communications and networking environment are preferred.
